Their practice explores the intersections of eco-praxis, identity, and queer liberation, with a particular emphasis on experimental moving image and analog photographic processes. Working across Super 8, 16mm, and 35mm film, as well as medium and large format photography, Seidel employs techniques including photochemical abstraction, eco processing, botanical collage, cyanotype, optical printing, found footage, and in-camera editing. They are currently a studio resident at the Boston Center for the Arts through 2028 and are represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston.
